Effective October 6, 2026
DP Internal Ledger (the “App”) is a private, internal software tool operated by David Powers (“we”) solely to access QuickBooks Online companies owned or managed by David Powers and his affiliated entities. The App is not offered to the public or to third parties.
Information we access
With the authorization of a QuickBooks Online company administrator, the App reads accounting data from that company through the Intuit QuickBooks Online Accounting API, including company information, chart of accounts, lists (customers, vendors, classes, locations, items) and transactions and reports. The App requests read access for internal bookkeeping, tax preparation and financial reporting only.
How we use and store it
Data is used only for the internal accounting, tax and reporting purposes of the authorizing companies. It is stored on a single access-controlled computer under our control, and OAuth credentials are readable only by the operating-system account that runs the App. We do not sell, rent, or share QuickBooks data with any third party, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing.
Retention and deletion
Data is retained for as long as needed for the purposes above and applicable record-retention requirements. Disconnecting the App from a QuickBooks company (in QuickBooks under Settings > Apps, or via the App’s disconnect URL) revokes access; locally stored data for that company is deleted on request.
Security
All communication with Intuit uses TLS. Access to the App and its data is limited to David Powers.
